Distinctively Christian Retirement is a finalist in the Christian Indie Awards

My most recent book, Distinctively Christian Retirement, has been named as a finalist in the ‘Christian Living’ section of the Christian Indie Awards. These awards, based in the USA, are for books published by individuals or small publishers. The winners will be announced on April 22.

It has been encouraging to see the book getting traction and interest. Many websites agreed to publish excerpts, Christian bookstores in Australia and the USA have stocked it, there have been some kind reviews online by a range of people, and a church in London ordered a box to distribute to their congregation. I have also had the opportunity to speak to some of the issues at small groups and churches.

Christians of every age should be active in serving God and one another in all kinds of ways. I am thankful to the many older saints whom I have had the privilege of ministering alongside.
